Differences

The has been a big difference from my first speech and my last one. The first speech I did not have eye contact, I looked at my notecards most of the time. The first speech I did not have good volume in my voice but the last one I spoke the clearly. I still need to work on my hand gestures because in both of the speeches I had little to none hand gestures. Overall I have made a big improvement on my public speaking.

How to speech reflextion

Wrong things

• I did not look up very much during my speech
• The speech was not very long
• Also I should have worn a collard shirt so that I could have put the tie on better.
• I needed a better conclusion

Good things

• I thought I had a good intro
• The presentation was good and I made a good point.

Informative speech

I did my speech on alternative medicine. During my speech some of the things I did wrong during my speech that I need to work on are I moved around alot during my speech (Swayed), I read off my note cards to much instead of looking at people, I talked to fast, I only looked at the right side of the class. I used the notecards more than I needed and I didnt have a hook.

Characters

For the character of katherine i would have roseanne most famously know for the TV show roseanne. I would put her because she is ugly and it would be hard to find her a husband.

For the character of Bianca I would have Kathrine Heigl from the movie knocked up.

For Petruchio I would have Brad Pitt for his role as being the bad guy in movies.

For Baptista I would have Mel Gibson because of his age and wealth.

For Gremio I would have Will smith because when he was in the fresh prince he was trying to get girls all the time.

Lucentio I would have Donald trump because he is a very wealthy man.

"That's okay, honey. I used to believe in things too" this is sarcasm because they still believe in something. "If at first you don't succeed try something easier" this is sarcasm because just because something is easy you shouldn't stop and try something easier. Another example is when drew Carey said " Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so there's a support group for that it's called everybody, and they meet at the bar."

Exaggeration

That homework took me forever. This is exaggeation because if i took forever then you couldnt do anything but homework and eventually you would die. Another example is I haven't seen him in forever. This is exaggeration because if you haven't seen him in forever then you woudln't know who he was.

Jordan Dugger

My name is Jordan Dugger and I am a junior at Anderson high school. I enjoy playing sports but my favorite sports to play are baseball and basketball. I would love to play hockey but I have never joined a team. When I am not playing sports I am usually playing video games, watching movies, or watching TV. My favorite video games are modern warefare 2, my favorite movies are step brothers, dumb and dumber, and anchorman.
